The food at B&C blew away the barbecue I ate in Kansas City on the way to Wichita. The restaurant itself is big, loud and airy with lots of televisions (would be a great place to watch a football game); I hear a rumor it was formerly an antiques shop? The eye-catching chandelier that hands near the bar area must be a hold-over.
Meals start with a trip to the salad bar/baked potato bar stocked with fairly standard offerings, everything seemed fresh and good quality. Then the barbecue arrives --- and oh my goodness. My brisket boasted a glorious pink smoke ring and was so tender, I cut it with my fork. The ribs my fellow diner enjoyed looked fab as well. Mac and cheese was appropriately decadent with a strong hit of garlic, and the baked beans were great, too. Fair warning, the red bottle on the table is spicy barbecue sauce, not ketchup. And when they say spicy, they are NOT messing around.
So. Much. Delicious. Food. Be prepared to take leftovers home to enjoy later. -

This is probably my new favorite place for BBQ in Wichita. They're known for the pulled pork, but I love brisket so I had to get the brisket sandwich. My husband got the split rib and pulled pork dinner. The ribs were really tender and tasty. The brisket was good, but a on the dry side. I had to use a lot of sauce. The pulled pork was really tender and moist. If I could have a do over, I'd get the pulled pork sandwich. The spicy baked beans were awesome, Mac and cheese was really creamy (dripping), and the fries weren't that special. The fries are the most expensive side dish on the menu so I was expecting something unique about it, but they're just larger cut fries.
Service was nice and laidback. We didn't have one assigned waiter. Just seemed like they tag team the whole place, but I don't think it affected our service. The space is one bit open room with the bar in the center. Great for large groyps -

I ordered the sampler plate and everything was cooked to perfection. Really tasty meat.
Also the side dishes, yummy mac and cheese and yummy beans.
They have a good selection of beers on tap and service is pretty fast. -

Best Ribs I have ever had!! Great lunch buffet, but as someone who only eats meat... who needs those sides of slaw, beans and taters.
I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I had turkey and chicken left on my plate, but they make you weigh the food left on your plate and pay again per ounce, to take your plate home. -

One of the better bbq joints here in Wichita. Sizable portions for great value. Nice smoked meats. Friendly and quick service. Fall off the bone smoked moist chicken. Full bar, TVs everywhere and the historical chandelier in the middle of the restaurant. Full menu at night and their traditional bbq buffet during lunch hours. Will definitely return and recommend.
